1985 Press Photo Sailboats on Lake Michigan during Lakefront Boating Festival

Seven sailboats caught the wind on Lake Michigan as their young captains vied for the Courtland Conlee Youth Invitational trophy Saturday. The race was part of the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center's 5th annual Lakefront Boating Festival, a three-day event that will continue from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. today. Besides races and demonstrations, there will be food, entertainment and sky-diving exhibitions. Admission to the festival is free. The center is at 1450 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr. Boats - Sail
