Mark Holzmann, a manufacturing cost engineer at Plastic Engineered Components, Inc. examines acrylic carafes made by PEC's Janlin Plastic Division in Mount Horeb. The carafes are one unit of five-component manual water purification system for home use. The system removes unpleasant order, taste and 95% of the lead. PEC recently moved its headquarters from Michigan to New Berlin.
