St. Anne's Catholic Church has embarked on an energy conservation program. Last January's $12,000 heating bill for St.Anne's Church at 36th and Wright Streets and its adjoining school and rectory startled the parish into action. The outcome was an energy-saving project that put people to work and gave them new skills. It is expected to save the parish as much as $238,000 in energy costs over 15 years.
