Day-care programs are not a new idea, but the concept of older adults caring for other older adults is a recent development. At St. Ann's Health Center 3221 S. Lake Dr., sisters - aided by retired nuns - operate an adult day-car program. The retired nuns are caring, older adults who help take care of other elderly, caring people. The understand what it is like to be elderly. Frank Rogers, seated in a wheelchair, kept his arms strong by using pulleys for daily physical therapy, Lester Brumm is interested in craft work, (top right). He cut yarn and cord into short strands to be used as doll hair.
