Peck Meat Packing Corporation - Youngsters examine what officers of Peck Foods hope will be certified as the world's largest submarine sandwich during a celebration of the company's 100th anniversary. The meat-processing company invited employees and their families to the celebration and submarine feast Sunday at the company's research and development center, 1515 West Canal Street. The sub was 42 feet long and contained pastrami, pork, cooked beef, corned beef, Italian beef, sliced chicken, ham, turkey breast, tomatoes, peppers and onion. Its dimensions are being submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records.
