1988 Press Photo Richard Prihoda kneels by his pheasant pen in Milwaukee

Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
Franklin--When Richard Prihoda built his first pheasant pen in July 1986, he didn't think a game farm would be incompatible with the surrounding neighborhood. "Just look around here," he said of the area around his property at 5320 West Rawson Avenue. "It's such a mix. We've got residences next door, a farm on the corner, a storage shed company and a trucking company down the block, a farm field and two quarries across the street."

Photo measures 7 x 10 inches. Photo is dated 03-28-1988.
