1990 Press Photo Marti Fine and children look over old Torah at Fox Point home

Marti Fine and her children, Larry and Alyssa, looked over a 100-year-old Torah at the Fox Point home. Marti Fine says she grew up in a traditional Jewish home, even though it was located in the Bible belt of South Carolina. Those traditions are still important to Fine and have led her to join a congregation that is part of a very non-traditional movement.
