1981 Press Photo Larry Wolff assists Perry Printing President on new printer.

Larry Wolff (right), a pressman at Perry Printing Corporation, assisted President Roger L. Perry at the control console of a new, $4 million web offset press which has boosted production capacity 20% at the Waterloo plant. The corporation, which is a division of The Journal Company, began as a newspaper printing operation in 1931 and pioneered four-color offset presses in the early 1960's. The new unit is the largest commercial web offset press available.
