1988 Press Photo Beth Damitz raised baby chicks at South Milwaukee High School

Beth Damitz, a science honor student at South Milwaukee High School, made friends with some baby chicks that were raised by students in Richard Mullen's biology class. Mullen says that every year baby chicks are hatched from eggs donated by feed dealers.
