Breakfast In A Basket: A mother robin fed one of her three babies in a makeshift nest hanging from a tree at the Carl Dierbeck home, 4630 North 148th Street, Brookfield. The original nest was blown from the tree. When Dierbeck couldn't find the nest, he fashioned a new one using an old peach basket and some straw. Minutes after he placed the young birds in the basket and hung it in a tree, the mother robin appeared with food in her mouth ready to feed her young. Birds, R, Miscellaneous.
