Christmas shoppers gave their feet a break as they rode the escalators Saturday at Southridge Shopping Center, 5300 South 76th Street, Greendale. Would-be Santas came in droves to shopping centers across the nation as the Thanksgiving weekend launched the Christmas shopping season.
