Charles Opitz of Mineral Point, received a grant to demonstrate how rotational grazing can be practiced successfully with a large dairy herd. Charles Opitz, who milks approximately 850 Holsteins will demonstrate controlled grazing on his 2,100-acre Mineral Point farm during the next 19 months as part of the state's Sustainable Agricultural Demonstration Program.
