Senator Robert W. Kasten Jr. (R-Wis) spoke Monday from the steps of a rehabilitated home at 3349 N. Palmer St. to announce a $400,000 federally funded program to provide technical assistance for housing rehabilitation in Milwaukee. He said the city's Home Front housing rehabilitation program would receive $401,060 from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide technical assistance to community-based organizations.
