The pallet-changing sequence on the first model of a soon-to-be-introduced family of machining centers was tested recently at Kearney & Trecker Corporation in West Allis by Daniel Kutz, a senior electrical engineer. The new machining centers feature a modular construction that allows for custom-tailoring of a machine. The new machining center family will be among the products displayed in November at Horizons "86, a company-wide factory automation display West Allis-based Kearney & Trecker is a subsidiary of Cross & Trecker Corporation, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
