Car seller 'Madman' Muntz dies. Rancho Mirage, California -AP- Earl (Madman) Muntz, whose zany ads for used cars were the butt of radio-era comedians' jokes, died Saturday of lung cancer. He was 73. Mount, who also was an early maker of televisions and car radios, died at Eisenhower Medical Center. He had been suffering from lung cancer for more than a year. (Radio ads) (Billboards)
