Description

While preparing a Thanksgiving dinner for the needy, Carvis Braxton makes repairs to the handle of a cornbread pan Wednesday night at New Life Presbyterian Church, 3276 North Palmer Street. The church, which had lost membership and was on the brink of closing a year ago, has been revitalized by a new pastor, Terrell Cistrunk.
