1988 Press Photo Ed Lane makes coffee in his home, a living center for disabled

Ed Lane, whose left arm has been impaired since he suffered a head injury, fixed coffee in his apartment. A grip in his left hand helps to keep the hand from closing. West Allis - From the outside, 6224-26 W. Grant Street looks like any other well-kept home in the neighborhood. But it's actually a supervised living center for four men who have survived head injuries.
