Poplar, spruce and balsam logs are checked by workmen at the start of a length process that will convert them into a product to comfort the "common cold" in Neenah, Wisconsin. They will be pulverized and then made into lightweight disposable tissues. Although papermakers use enormous amounts of wood, Kimberly-Clark Corporation alone harvests one and a half million cords annually. Through replanting programs it grows more than it can use. Paper
