1983 Press Photo Principle Ted Jarosh signed autographs at Lakeview Elementary

The last day of school was both a sad and happy day for 193 students at Lakeview Elementary School In Neenah, Wisconsin. Vernon Rueckert (above) received a "thank-you" cake and lots of good by hugs. Principle Ted Jarosh signed autographs (right) for a first-grade class. It was also the last day for the school. Because of declining enrollment, the school will not reopen next fall. Globes(below) were readied for other schools
