Description

Old mural being restored: Kevin McElroy, 18, worked on the restoration of a mural above and beside the altar of the old St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 666 West 14225 Janesville Road, Muskego, Wisconsin. The mural, originally painted in 1914 by Lewis Karrer, a 20-year-old Lutheran seminarian, was painted over in 1957 when the church was redecorated. The mural is being restored for the church's 125th anniversary this year.
