It's hand hewn boards weathered by the decades, St. Augustine's Church stood unused in the community of New Diggings, Wisconsin, as a silent reminder of the Catholic priest Father Samuel Mazzucchelli, who built it in 1884, It is believed to be the second-oldest Catholic church in Wisconsin and the only one that stands as it was when it was first built.
