Description
Hunting - Ducks - A back bay in Netley lake, 35 miles north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, was the setting as a Journal outdoor writer raised his gun at a flock of teal, lured toward shore by decoys set out by Indian guides. The lake is near Ed Chesley's duck hunting camp, familiar to many Milwaukee hunters. Mallards took to the air as the writer and W.E. Organ, Manitoba director of travel and publicity, paddled a canoe through the lake's choppy water. But the ducks were great aerial maneuverists, and only a few were downed.

Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 10-01-none.
