Ladybugs are poured into boxes by the bucketful to fill orders. Excelsior is in the boxes to prevent overcrowding. The beetles are shipped by air under refrigeration, and they are allowed to warm up gradually in the new home fields. When orders come in, ladybugs are poured into shipping boxes by the bucketful. Boxes have compartments with some excelsior in them to prevent overcrowding. Small boxes hold 35,000; giant-size shipping box hold 200,00. Insects - Beetles. Ladybugs are poured into boxes for shipment to gardeners.
