Description
Unpacking at new City Hall - Receptionist Marlene Reid and Deputy City Clerk William Bowers readied New Berlin's new $3 million City Hall for business Monday. Mayor Tim Tully and Aldermen Stanton Smith, James Sheahan and Ted Wysocki, along with city staff members, formally opened the building with a flag-raising Monday. However, a tricky telephone system and unopened boxes prevented much work Monday. Tully said every office should be fully operating today. The new City Hall had been under construction since last February. A formal grand opening for the building will be held in late spring, Tully said.
