Wisconsin - The New Berlin Park and Recreation Department held its second annual Kids' Festival Tuesday at City Park, 16300 W. National Ave. Besides the host of activities for children, there were appearances by WISN-TV's Chopper 12, the New Berlin Polic Department's robot and the Night Hawks, a breakdance group. Left: John Tischer, 8, was pulled across a rope while sitting in a tire. Center picture: Monica Rudig, only 10 months old, will have to wait a year or two to join in the fun. Below: Dave Hollis, 11, bounded through an obstacle course of old tires. The kids when through the obstacle course in teams of five, with each child helping the other. All the children were from New Berlin.
