1968 Press Photo Aerial view of industrial park in New Berlin, Wisconsin

The New Berlin industrial part, in this aerial view, is under development in the midst of what once was farmland. Open space and housing development can be seen at top of photo. Excavations for additional development show up in upper and lower left corners of the park. When completed, the park will have a valuation of $50 million. The property was assessed at $327,000 when the city bought it in 1964. Twelve area communities now have industrial parks.
