Actor John Payne gave the okay sign as he and his wife, Sandy, looked through a pile of get well fan mail he has received in his New York hospital room. Payne, seriously injured when he was hit by a car, expects to leave for his home in California in a few days. His broken leg is still in a cast. He is Dead.
