Workers repaired the outside of a home once owned by Milwaukee's Socialist Mayor Daniel Hoan, who lived in the dwelling from 1916 to 1940. The home, in a West Side neighborhood, is being rehabilitated. It still has many original features, including an open stairway, sliding doors and handsome woodwork. Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
