1982 Press Photo Collapsed wall between Froedtert and County General Hospital

Wall Collapses - Part of a lower wall in an uncompleted $3 million passageway between County General Hospital and Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital fell inward Tuesday night after dirt was poured against the outside. County officials estimated that repairs would cost several hundred thousand dollars and that completion of the project would be delayed several months.
