A lively pool game got under way almost as soon as the new South Side Golden Age center opened Monday at 1667 South 24th st. The building was formerly nurses' quarters for the old South View hospital, across the street. The center; for persons over 60, is open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
