1992 Press Photo Dolly O'Hara knits at the Hartford Memorial Hospital

Dolly O'Hara once was curled in a fetal position and didn't talk. With help, she learned to walk a few steps and to talk again--with an accent from her native Scotland, much to the delight of hospital personnel. Now, she has returned to knitting and makes toys and sweaters that are for sale and displayed in her room. Hartford Memorial Hospital.
