1968 Press Photo Steel and brass helmet displayed at Paine Art Center

Paine Art Center: The steel and brass helmet worn by a Paris guard about 1805-1808 shows how even clothing was influenced by the art period which hearkened back to the times of Caesar. The marble vases trimmed with ormolu are typical of the period.
