1984 Press Photo Milwaukee Zoo's polar bear, Meeshka, stays cool in the pool

As thousands of people swarmed to area beaches and pools Sunday, Meeshka, a polar bear at the Milwaukee County zoo, played in the water of its pool. The bear was trying to keep cool in the 90-degree temperatures.
