Even water plants have galleries, visitors to the filter pipe gallery learned Friday when they toured the Howard Purification Plant, 725 East Howard Avenue. The city water department is holding an open house at both the Howard Plant and the Linnwood Plant, 3000 North Lincoln Memorial Drive, from noon to 6 p.m. through Sunday.
