Straw baskets, straw flowers and velvet ribbons composed the vividly colored centerpieces decorating the dinner tables at the Collector's Corner meeting. The arrangements, prepared by Mrs. Carl Friend, 6105 North Berkeley Boulevard, Whitefish Bay, proved to be conversation pieces after as well as during dinner. Mrs. Dudley J. Godfrey, jr., 3110 E. Hampshire Street (left), and Mrs. R. Goeres Hayssen, 3443 North Shepard Avenue, were two of the women who got to take them home.
