1963 Press Photo Milwaukee Fire Department fireboat Deluge gets new propellers

It took 70 tons of lift power to raise the Deluge's stern 5 feet 4 inches above her normal level. The vessel weighs 270 gross tons. The new propellers, each costing about $510 and weighing about 400 pounds, waited at dockside. Milwaukee - Fire Department
