Description
An early 19th century French fireplace mantel has been donated to Marquette university by Mr. and Mrs. David Hecht, 2721 North Lake Drive. The fireplace is made of carved white alabaster marble with black and gold Porto Venere marble trim. It has been installed in the main reading room of the Memorial library along with the university's collection of religious art. Marquette University.
