Bus Safety. With assistant principal Robert Winkler timing them, pupils at 27th Street School, 1312 North 27th Street, recently conducted a drills to practice evacuating a school bus in an emergency. Jeff Petroske and David Presti, both 10, helped Jason Shaver, 8, off of the bus. The drill, which took 8 seconds, calls for the older students to help the younger ones off the bus.
