Milwaukee-Police Department-Telephone: Instructions in operating the police department's new telephone switchboard were given to Joseph Potkonjak, 4442 North 75th Street, police alarm operator, by Mrs. Karen Harvie, 1723 East Beverly Road, Shorewood, a representative of the Wisconsin Telephone Company. The switchboard, which went into operation in the Safety Building at 4 p.m. Wednesday, automatically handles all calls between police phones now handled by operators and also incoming calls to the Safety Building and two district stations, Milwaukee
