1983 Press Photo woman looks at books at Milwaukee Public Library book sale

Bargains in books- Bobbi Wolf of MIlwaukee looked over the books on sale at the Mill Road Library on Monday. It was the first of three summer book sales planned by the MIlwaukee Public Library. All books, both for children and adults, cost 25 cents. This is the fourth year the library has used neighborhood libraries as sites for the annual house-cleaning book sale. A second summer sale will be held at the Atkinson Library July 18, and a third at the Tippecanoe Library August 22. The sales are staffed by volunteers from the Bookfellows organization.
