Captain Bernanrd A. Thilgas, USN professor of naval science and commander of the Marqutte university naval ROTC unit, took pleasure Sunday in reading a letter from the navy promoting Commander Charles W. Miller (right) to the rank of captain. Dean T. Robert Martin, Marquette college of business administration, looked on. Miller lives at 1020 Lone Tree road, Elm Grove. He is on leave as professor of business administration to serve as treasurer of the Miller Brewing Company.
