Description
About 100,00 cubic yards of fill have been dumped into Lake Michigan for the McKinley Beach marina development project. It will take 2,600,000 cubic yards of dirt to complete the 60 acre project shown between the broken line and the steel bulkhead. The county park commission estimates the cost will be $4,330,000 upon completion in 1967. The fill already in place represents about 4% of the total needed. Mckinley Marina.
