1990 Press Photo High School Student Karen Thomas in Medical Apprenticeship

Student intern Karen Thomas gets a giggle out of Keandra Sharee Henderson, 1. The students are this summer's participants in the Medical College of Wisconsin's Apprenticeship in Medicine program, which ends Friday. They come from North and South Division High Schools. The long-range goal is to encourage promising minority students to continue their education after high school.
