1968 Press Photo Motorists discovered a bypass through dock area onto Plankinton

A number of motorists have discovered a bypass through the dock area of the new post office from the 6th street viaduct. They come out onto North Plankinton avenue perhaps avoiding possible delay at North 6th and West Michigan streets where backups occur
