1961 Press Photo Marvin Goes and other laying on grass at art fair, Wauwatosa

Works ranging from detailed, realistic sketches to large abstract paintings were displayed Saturday by about 100 amateur and professional artists at an art fair in the mall of the Mayfair shopping center, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Miss Louise Soper, 2825 West Green Tree Road, Glendale, sat beside Marvin Goes, 4123 North 6th Street, as they relaxed on the grass near his paintings. Hundreds of shoppers paused to inspect or purchase art works.
