Christmas spirit's taking hold It's not Thanksgiving yet, but Christmas was in full swing over the weekend in Mequon and Menomonee Falls, Above: While parents shop at a holiday bazaar at Christ Church in Mequon, the Reverend Ellsworth E. Fryer dons a Santa Claus cap and plays his ukelele for youngsters. Proceeds will go to benefit the Mequon Christian Childcare Center, Ozaukee Adult Day Center and the Alliance for the Mentally Ill. With temperatures in the 30s, only snow would have made the mood more Christmas-like for the annual parade in Menomonee Falls Sunday. Left: Shawn Finch, 13, skates along the parade route selling inflatable toys. Below: Johanna Buscher of Glendale stays warm with Keefer, an Alaskan malamute who's built for the weather.
