The Milwaukee Chamber Dance Theater recruited dancers from around the nation - contrary to the policy of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA), under which $54,000 in federal funds was supplied to help pay for the imported talent. Judy Gotshalks, director of the dance troupe, said she had sought dancers from outside the area because Milwaukee did not have the kind of talent the theater needed.
