1965 Press Photo Edgar George Checks Stone Work at Marquette University Chapel

Masonry foreman Edgar George of the Siesel Construction Company checked the progress of the stone work on the reconstruction of the Joan of Arc chapel at Marquette university. Originally the chapel stood in the Loire valley of western France. Joan of Arc reportedly worshiped there in 1429. It was moved from France in 1927 and reconstructed in New York. The structure was given to the university by Marc B. Rojtman, former president of the J.I. Case Company, Racine Chapel Milwaukee
