1957 Press Photo Bell Hoisted into Belfry of Church, Green Bay, Wisconsin

A 5,380 pound bell was hoisted into the belfry of a Green Bay church. The big bass bell is a part of the First Evangelical Lutheran church's new 47 bell carillon. Installation of the bells is expected to be completed this week. A dedication concert is tentatively scheduled for December 22, with Robert Donnell, official carillonneur for the Canadian parliament, as guest artist on the program. Wisconsin, buildings.
