1981 Press Photo Workers barricade street for resurfacing, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Workers placed a barricade at 6th and Wisconsin Tuesday morning, closing the avenue to traffic east to Plankinton. The thoroughfare will be closed about two months for resurfacing and new curbing in connection with the planned Grand Avenue shopping mall.
